I’m joining the SOPA and PIPA internet strike today. Sadly, the Collective Self site has a new and too-complicated-for-me theme, and after hours of failing, its time to admit that I’m not technologically savvy enough to get the official “on strike” banner across the top of this site. Grrr!
Anyway, I can do this much. Please consider going to one or more of these sites and learning more about these two bills up for consideration by the U.S. Congress. These sites make it really easy to learn about these bills, to send a letter to a Congressperson if you’re so inspired, and, if you choose, to get involved further.
- Taking action to stop the Internet Blacklist Bills
- Stop American Censorship
- Electronic Frontier Foundation’s take action page
- Petition on Google
- Best anti-SOPA argument that I’ve found (The Oatmeal)
I knew that one of these days my technical ineptitude would bite me in the butt. Sigh. Today, apparently, is that day. 🙂
Thanks. See you soon,
Lori
